The remote controller for the TV has a bit of an issue where you need to press really hard on the buttons to switch on or change the channels on the TV. The toilet's door lock was broken - could not lock the door and the knob actually came off. However, the sitting area (the chair and the low wall near the curtains or windows) were not clean as my partner and I were bitten by some bugs after sitting around that area. You can get food or groceries from Star Vista before heading back to the hotel. Save your money and hassle! This Hotel has gone from OK to worst!ħ.6km from Cashew station - The location is good as it is just 2 to 3 minutes walk from Star Vista. I am beginning to wonder how many more people have bought the package and were told it was invalid after they arrived at the hotel? For the price we paid for this hotel, we could get better elsewhere. I have emailed the hotel reservations department and marketing staff but all they are doing is playing the stalling game.
Our flights have already been booked for and we will be travelling with our 3 young kids again. So basically, our (SGD148 x 7 = SGD1036) just vanished as we were told that they don't have our booking or will take our booking even though I have a confirmation email from them. When I called the office, I was basically told that they will not honour the memberships. I did this mainly because I heard that the hotel is under a new management now. They sent us a confirmation slip and all was good until I called them to confirm the booking. Just a couple of weeks back, we booking our next stay in August 2019 as we have 7 nights left in the package. This time we had our 1 year old with us and he woke up several times because of the noise. Since our stay was just 3 nights and most of the day, we were out running errands doing other things, we only came back to sleep. Had to remind the front desk to get someone to come and clean the toilets again. The toilet was very dirty with excrement (previous guest had bad tummy I suppose) all over the seat. The television in the room did not work and almost non of the safes were working.
It was upsetting that they chose not to inform anyone who bought the package of the changes. It was just a bag of cheap bread and orange cordial drink that was left sitting on the table for show as I saw no-one eating it. What a disappointment! This time the hotel was under OYO 104, they decided to not honour providing breakfast. Big mistake! In Mar 2019, we came back to the hotel for 3 nights since we have 10 days from the package. Since our first experience in that Hotel was ok given that it was near nature and in a convenient location, we decided to purchase another 10 day package because we frequently come to Singapore. Having said that, one has to ignore the barking dogs from the training school next door.

However they did upgrade us (family with 3 young kids) to a larger room for a small upgrade fee. The first two days they put us in a small room that was not clean and made one feel claustrophobic.
